Bring real teacher training to your Making Proud Choices! program

Your district or organization invested in Making Proud Choices!, a CDC-endorsed teen pregnancy and HIV prevention curriculum. But purchasing a curriculum and being ready to teach it well are two different things. In one recent school year, only 5% of organizations that purchased the MPC curriculum went on to complete any training on how to deliver it. That gap doesn’t show up on an invoice. It shows up in classrooms, in facilitation quality, and in whether the program actually reaches the students it’s meant for.

What MPC: VISTA gives your educators

MPC: VISTA is an online training program that prepares educators to teach Making Proud Choices! through practice, not just information. Instead of watching a video and taking a quiz, educators work through realistic classroom scenarios, make facilitation decisions, and get feedback, the same kind of rehearsal used to train people in medicine and aviation. Backed by research, not just marketing

MPC: VISTAisn’t a hypothesis. A proof-of-concept study found that educators trained through the simulation performed comparably to, and in some cases better than, educators trained in person, on observed teaching fidelity and quality.
