(“MPC: VISTA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with your use of MPC: VISTA, our web-based professional development platform for educators and other professionals (the “Platform”). Note: “MPC: VISTA” refers to this platform and its operator, dfusion Inc., and is distinct from “Making Proud Choices,” a separate curriculum program.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy should be read together with the MPC: VISTA Terms of Service.

1. Who This Policy Covers

MPC: VISTA is a professional development platform intended for adult educators, facilitators, and school or district administrators. It is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18 through the Platform. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details in Section 11 so we can address it.

Account means the unique login credentials created for an individual educator, administrator, or other User to access the Platform.

Institution means a school, district, or other organization that procures access to the Platform on behalf of its staff.

Personal Data means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.

Platform means the MPC: VISTA website and associated services.

Usage Data means data collected automatically through your use of the Platform, such as pages visited, time spent, and technical/device information.

You / User means the individual accessing or using the Platform, or the Institution on whose behalf that individual is acting, as applicable.

We may automatically collect certain information when you use the Platform, including your device’s IP address, browser type and version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, and other diagnostic data.

These may include session cookies (to keep you logged in and secure your Account) and persistent cookies (to remember your preferences between visits). 3.5 Google Sign-In and Google User Data

MPC: VISTA offers “Sign in with Google” to authenticate you. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your basic profile information with us — your name, email address, profile picture, and Google account identifier — so we can create and authenticate your Account. We request only this basic profile information. We do not request or access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use this information solely to create your Account, sign you in, and associate your training progress and completion records with your Account. We do not sell Google user data, we do not share it except with the service providers that operate the Platform, and we do not use it for advertising.
